CHRISTMAS CARD KITS...!

Christmas cards are always so special, and here’s a little insight into the card
I recently taught at our Christmas Card Club in 2025...!

Normally I don’t design Christmas cards in the traditional green and red palette,
as many of you know my style leans more towards shabby chic.

But this time I decided to step outside my comfort zone and try something
a little different and I absolutely loved the result!

At the moment I’m also creating two new card kits especially for
Christmas in July 2026, which I’m very excited to share with you soon.

You’re always welcome to join us at our Cardmaking Club,
where I host the workshops and we spend a lovely time creating together.

Once again, thank you for stopping by and remember
to keep unlocking the artist within...!

GOT TO LOVE CHRISTMAS CARDS...!

While it’s always wonderful making cards, I must admit I love
receiving them just as much.

There’s something so special about the thought and creativity
 behind every handmade piece.

For these cards, I used beautiful Lemoncraft papers and added
gorgeous flowers, lace, and embellishments
from a variety of suppliers to bring them to life.

They were so warmly received by our Creative Bellas at my
weekly Tuesday cardmaking group, which always makes the
creative process even more rewarding.

More Christmas card kits will be available after the Easter break,
especially with Christmas in July just around the corner!

So, get ready to start creating.

Make sure you follow our website to stay in the loop,
it’s the heart of our creative community.

Until my next upload, wishing you all a wonderful and creative day.

Keep unlocking the artist within.

TAGS ~ TAGS ~ TAGS

There’s something truly magical about creating handmade gift tags.

For me, each tag is like a tiny canvas, a place where layers of beautiful papers,
ribbons, flowers, and embellishments come together to tell a little story.

I love knowing that when a gift is given,
the tag itself becomes a keepsake that can be treasured
long after the wrapping is gone.

These particular tags were created for dear friends celebrating their birthdays.

Each one was thoughtfully layered with beautiful papers,
soft ribbons, delicate flowers, and special little
details that make every tag unique.

The Christmas tag above was also turned into a creative kit,
and it was so warmly received by our wonderful Creative Bellas.

Seeing others enjoy creating these projects as much
as I do is truly inspiring.

Thank you all for your continued support and enthusiasm.

Over the next few weeks, I will be preparing a beautiful new kit
that I’m very excited to share with you.

This kit will feature a Created Box that you will decorate,
along with a collection of coordinating handmade tags that will
nest perfectly inside the box.

It’s a project filled with charm, creativity, and plenty of lovely details.

As with all of my kits, you will receive colourful step-by-step illustrated
instructions to guide you through the process so you can relax, enjoy
the creative journey and make something truly special.

Keep an eye out for the April release as
I can’t wait to share it with you.

MY COUNTRY LIFE LAYOUT ...!

The last couple of weeks have been such an exciting creative journey,
and I’ve been having so much fun back in my happy place creating layouts!

Here is one I made a few weeks ago, and I hope you love it as
much as I enjoyed making it.

As many of you know, shabby chic is my absolute forte,
and I never get tired of playing with beautiful textures and layers.

At the moment I’m completely obsessed with burlap flowers.
They are so versatile and work perfectly for both male and female projects,
adding just the right amount of rustic charm.

For this layout I had a lot of fun building up the layers,
stitching around the borders, and adding corrugated cardstock
to create depth and texture.

I also included some corrugated cardstock,
which ties the design together beautifully.

To finish it off, I added a collection of little embellishments
I’ve gathered here and there,
giving the page that extra touch of personality.

The stunning papers are from Craft O’Clock,
one of our leading craft suppliers, and they worked
perfectly with my shabby chic style.

And the creativity doesn’t stop here!

Over the coming weeks I’ll be releasing five brand new layouts,
sharing them weekly, each with its own special touch.

So keep an eye out, there’s lots more inspiration coming your way!

Little Boys Journey Layout...!

Creating this scrapbooking layout, A Little Boy’s Journey
truly filled my heart with joy.

There’s something so special about telling a story through paper,
capturing innocence, adventure, and the beautiful moments
 that shape a young life.

I had so much fun working with the exquisite papers by Craft O’Clock.

Their designs bring such warmth and depth,
making it effortless to layer and build dimension.
The soft tones and vintage feel worked perfectly to reflect
the sweetness and curiosity of childhood.

As many of you know, I absolutely adore incorporating
 burlap flowers into my projects.

They add that gorgeous rustic texture I’m always drawn to.

I also included special little elements I’ve collected
along the way some treasures I’ve found online
that seem to find their perfect home in layouts like this.

It’s those unique touches that make every piece feel personal and one of a kind.

One of my favourite features in this layout is the
introduction of corrugated cardstock.

I just love the extra texture and structure it brings.
It adds depth and a slightly raw, playful feel perfect for a little boy’s
story full of adventure and discovery.

This kit has now been launched and is available for purchase on my website.

I AM COMPLETE SCRAPBOOKING LAYOUT...!

As most of you know, at the end of each post I always say,
keep unlocking the artist within...!

Well, it has come that time for me to truly unlock the artist within...!

For over 13 years, I stopped creating layouts...!

My family didn’t want scrapbooking albums anymore as they wanted
memories captured in Albums, filled with photographs.
And I happily created them...!

But this past month, I felt the pull to branch out again,
and to return to creating the 12x12 layouts.

Oh my goodness… it was stressful at the beginning!

I’m so used to creating cards, and moving back to a full
12x12 layout felt like stepping into unfamiliar territory.

It took me close to a week to complete this one layout.

In that week, I’m sure I gained 30 grey hairs,
drank more gin & tonics than usual,
and made endless phone calls to my bestie,
every single time I added a new element asking for approval.

Ridiculous? Maybe.
Relatable? Absolutely.

I’m sure we all have that little voice in our head saying,
“Is this, okay?”
“Does it look good?”
“Have I over-cluttered it?”

But then I heard the other voice, the creative one,
reminding me that crafting is endless.
There are no strict rules. It’s expression. It’s feeling. It’s art.

Using the gorgeous Craft O’Clock papers,
I layered paper doilies to mimic the look of vintage lace,
creating a soft and romantic feel.
I kept the additions simple, with just a few silk roses
flowing ribbon, and scattered pearls
to complete the piece with a gentle, elegant touch.

Of course, close to everything I create goes under
 my sewing machine.

I would stitch around all the borders. became this is the
BellaRose signature touch.

If you don’t already stitch around your pieces,
I highly recommend giving it a try as it truly elevates your creations.

And if you don’t have a sewing machine,
you can always stitch by hand.

Sometimes those imperfect little hand stitches make it even more special.

Some of my upcoming layouts will be just for show
(Because let’s be honest…I don’t know when to stop adding embellishments,
and that can make things a little expensive!).

But this little beauty is now online and available as a kit.
https://www.bellarosecreativestudio.com.au/kits-kits-kits

With every BellaRose kit, you will receive

full-colour illustrations and a detailed guide emailed to you,
so you can confidently complete your own layout.

Once again, Creative Bellas, thank you for stopping by and as always,
Keep unlocking the artist within...!
